Well he calls it abstention but its really an abdication of responsibility. He says Canadians don't want an election so he pulls his party out of parliament for important votes. This is so completely ridiculous it is almost beyond words. We don't want an election so we'll let the Conservatives do exactly what they want. BUT we're not voting for it.
Stefane - you are supporting it. If you're not opposing it you're enabling it. What's worse you're sticking your head in the sand and not participating. That giant sucking sound you hear is the rest of the support for the Liberal Party leaking out to Conservatives, NDP, Greens . . .anybody but you. Somebody who stands on principle and actually does the job they were elected for. If I don't like something at work I either speak up or get it done. I don't sit on my thumb and stammer.
SHAME ON YOU LIBERALS. If you don't participate . . . QUIT.

and now he says we won't vote against it but we will repeal it if we are in government???? if its wrong when you have a majority its wrong now. no guts, no principle. no chance
